MyAbilityTest ("this site") takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information the site collects, and how that information is used and stored.
This site has no sign-up or login. We do not collect or store personally identifying information such as your name, email address, phone number, or date of birth.
Your scores, session statistics, and all-time record lists are saved exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This data is never transmitted to our servers, and the site operator cannot see it.
This means the "All-Time Top Records" list is not a leaderboard shared with other users — it only collects the scores you set on that particular device.
This site uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service, to cover operating costs.

This site is hosted through Cloudflare. To deliver the service and protect it against abusive traffic, standard access data such as IP address, browser type, and request time may be processed at the infrastructure level. This is not used to identify individual visitors.
This site also uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit and which tests they use. It sets cookies to collect anonymous statistics such as page views, test starts and completions, and the mode selected; this information is sent to and stored by Google. IP addresses are anonymised by default in Google Analytics 4, and no personally identifying information such as names or email addresses is collected. Your test scores and leaderboard records are never sent to analytics — they stay in your browser. You can opt out by blocking cookies in your browser or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
The Hearing Age Test uses the browser's Web Audio API to play tones. It does not access or record your microphone. Tests that measure clicks and key presses use only the count and timing of inputs made on that page; the content of your input is never stored or transmitted.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
All tests on this site are for entertainment and general reference. Results vary with your device, monitor refresh rate, input hardware, headphone quality, surroundings, and how alert you are, and they are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or professional assessment. If you have concerns about your hearing, vision, or cognition, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
